Cotton Producers Group

The Cotton Producers Group of the Agricultural Cooperative of the Farsala Province “ENIPEAS” was established in 2017. Its members cultivate conventionally grown cotton, with the aim of highlighting the quality of locally produced Greek cotton and securing better prices for their product.

One of the group’s future goals—already supported by preliminary collaborations with universities in Greece and abroad, as well as with international organizations and textile manufacturers—is the production of organic cotton.

The Cotton Group works closely with ginning facilities and textile industries. It is an officially recognized producers’ group and participates in a range of programs, including integrated crop management, carbon footprint monitoring, separate ginning, and the direct export of ginned cotton to international markets.

The regenerative agriculture program implemented by our cooperative was first introduced in cotton cultivation in 2022 and has since been expanded to other crops as well.
